Which events suit the AC banquet hall?
The hall is the natural choice whenever the weather must not decide your day:
- Wedding ceremonies with a mandap, and engagements with a ring ceremony on stage.
- Pooja and religious functions, naming ceremonies and baby showers, where elders sit for long periods.
- Birthday parties in the afternoon heat or during the monsoon.
- Corporate events: meetings, training days and conferences.
Which layouts can we discuss for the hall?
We plan the room around your event. Common set-ups are:
- Ceremony A mandap or stage at one end, rows of seating facing it and an aisle for the procession.
- Seated dinner Round tables with the buffet or service counters along one side.
- Stage and reception A stage for greetings and photos, with lounge seating and space for guests to mingle.
- Theatre or classroom Rows facing a screen or presenter, for corporate and community programmes.
Why choose the hall in Pune's seasons?
Pune's summer afternoons are hot, and the monsoon (roughly June to September) brings sudden heavy showers. An enclosed, air-conditioned hall means your guests stay comfortable and your decor and sound stay dry whatever the sky does. It is also the simplest option for daytime functions, when the lawn is at its warmest.
Using the hall with the open lawn
Some families hold the ceremony in the hall and the dinner on the open lawn, or plan the hall as the indoor fallback for an outdoor evening, as agreed in writing for your date. Compare both on the spaces page. In-house catering. Outside caterers are allowed with prior approval. For stage and mandap decor, see decoration planning. We share guest numbers for the hall on request, based on your layout.
