What are your office hours for site visits at Balkrishna Banquets?
Our office and site visits run 9:30 AM to 8 PM, every day. Drop in any time then, or message us to book a time and the right person will be free to show you around.
Is sending an enquiry the same as booking the venue?
No. An enquiry tells us what you are planning so we can answer and quote. Your date is yours only once we confirm it in writing together with the terms.
How quickly do you reply to an enquiry?
We reply same day (next morning if after 8 PM), on WhatsApp, by phone or by e-mail, whichever you used to reach us.
Is the food at the venue cooked by your own kitchen?
In-house catering. Outside caterers are allowed with prior approval. Menus are shared on request so you can see exactly what is served before you decide.
Can alcohol be served at a function at the venue?
Alcohol is allowed with the required licence or permit. We explain what is needed for your date when we send the quote.
Until what time can music play at an event?
Music is allowed till 10 PM. Plan the dancing and the speeches so they finish by then; the other timings for your event are agreed in writing before the day.
Can we bring a DJ or a band for the evening?
Tell us what you have in mind when you enquire. Music is allowed till 10 PM. Sound set-up and volume are agreed with you in writing.
Who plans the decoration for our event?
Our in-house decor team can do the decor, and outside decorators are allowed. We plan the stage, the entrance and the table settings with you and confirm in writing what applies to your date before you commit.
How much advance confirms a booking?
A 10% advance confirms your booking. The rest of the payment schedule and the other terms are shared in writing with your quote, so you see them before you decide. Nothing is charged for an enquiry.
What happens to a lawn event if it rains?
If it rains, the AC hall is the backup for lawn events. We agree the switch-over with you while planning the day, so a shower changes the setting, not the programme.
Is an AV setup provided for speeches and presentations?
We can arrange an AV setup; tell us what you need. List the screens, sound and microphones you expect when you enquire, and we confirm the set-up in writing.
Which seating layouts can the venue be set up in?
Layouts include theatre, classroom, cluster and U-shape. Guest numbers depend on the layout, so we confirm them for your event rather than print one figure.
Is there parking for guests at the venue?
There is ample parking at the venue.

Yes, ask for a formal proposal and share your company name and GST details with your enquiry; we include them on the quote and the invoice.
Can we bring our own photographer and videographer?
Tell us who is covering your event when you enquire, and we tell you any rules that apply.
Is the venue comfortable for children and elderly guests?
Families bring guests of every age. Tell us about small children or elders who need help at arrival and we plan seating and access with you at the site visit.
Can we change the guest count after receiving the quote?
Yes, tell us as early as you can. We update the quote in writing so the food, seating and space match the final numbers.
