Who is responsible for your data?
This notice covers the website of Balkrishna Banquets, Sr.no 92, 10, Mundhwa Rd, Koregaon Park Annexe, Mundhwa, Pune, Maharashtra 411036, and the enquiries we receive through it, on WhatsApp, by phone and by e-mail. For any question about your personal data, write to balkrishnabanquets@gmail.com.
Data fiduciary
The website and the venue are operated by Vikram Ramchandra Gaikwad, proprietor of Balkrishna Banquets, who decides how your personal data is used and is responsible for it under Indian data protection law.
What do we collect?
- What you tell us in an enquiry: your name, phone or WhatsApp number, e-mail address, the event, dates, a rough guest count, your space and budget preferences, and anything else you choose to write.
- Messages and calls: the content of WhatsApp chats, e-mails and notes from phone calls about your event.
- For companies: the company name, billing address and GST details needed for a proposal or invoice.
- Basic website data: technical information such as your browser type, the pages you visit and the buttons you tap, counted on our own server to keep the site working and to understand which pages are useful. We use no third-party analytics or advertising trackers.
- One cookie: when you send an enquiry or arrive through a partner's link, we set a first-party cookie called
bb_attrthat remembers how you found us (for example the page or campaign) for 90 days, so we know which pages bring enquiries. Browsing the site without enquiring sets no cookie.
We do not ask for sensitive information such as health or financial account details through the website. Please do not send it. Our enquiry form is meant for adults planning an event: we do not knowingly collect personal data of anyone under 18, and a parent or guardian should enquire on a child's behalf.
Why do we use it?
We use your details to reply to your enquiry, arrange site visits, prepare quotes and confirmations, plan and run your event, issue invoices and meet our legal and tax obligations. When you send an enquiry you agree to us contacting you about it. We do not send marketing messages unless you ask for them, and you can tell us to stop at any time.
How long do we keep it?
We keep enquiry details for as long as we are discussing or planning your event, and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you come back to us. Records we must keep for tax and accounting, such as invoices, are kept for the period the law requires. After that, we delete or anonymise the data.
What are your rights?
You can ask us to tell you what personal data we hold about you, to correct or update it, to delete it when it is no longer needed, and to withdraw your consent to being contacted. You can also nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf. Write to balkrishnabanquets@gmail.com and we will respond within the time the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and its Rules require. Some records, such as invoices, may have to be kept even after a deletion request, because the law requires it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Grievance officer
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your personal data, contact our grievance officer, Amit Gaikwad, at support@balkrishnabanquets.com or on +91 90969 99947. If your grievance is not resolved, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.

We take reasonable steps to protect your data, including limiting who on our team can see enquiry details. If we change this notice, the new version will appear on this page. For anything not covered here, write to balkrishnabanquets@gmail.com. See also our website terms.
