What are the steps from enquiry to event day?
These are the usual steps from enquiry to event day:
Enquiry.
Send your event, a date or a few options, a rough guest count and the space you prefer, on WhatsApp or through the enquiry form.
Same-day reply.
We reply same day (next morning if after 8 PM) with honest answers on your date, which space suits the event and what a quote would include.
Site visit (recommended).
Walk the hall and the lawn, ask to see the kitchen side and ask your questions in person. Site visits run 9:30 AM to 8 PM, every day. Drop in any time then, or message us to book a time and the right person will be free to show you around.
Written quote.
We set out the space, the menu, the decor plan, the timings and the payment schedule in writing.
Advance and written confirmation.
Your date is secured only once the advance is paid and we confirm it in writing, together with the terms.
Planning.
We finalise the menu, the layout, the decor, the programme timings and arrival plans with you in the weeks before.
Event day.
Our team runs the venue and the kitchen so your family or your team can concentrate on the occasion.
Is a WhatsApp message or a phone call a booking?
No. A message, a call or the form is an enquiry. We will tell you honestly whether a date looks open, but no date is set aside for anyone until it is confirmed in writing with the terms. That protects you as much as us: you always know exactly where you stand, and nobody is told one thing on the phone and another on paper.
How do the advance and payments work?
A 10% advance confirms your booking. The rest of the payment schedule and the other terms are set out in writing in your quote, before you commit to anything; they depend on the date, the space and the size of the event. If anything in the quote is unclear, ask and we explain it in writing.
Companies that need a proposal with GST details for approvals can ask for one; see corporate events.
What should you decide before the site visit?
You do not need everything fixed, but three things make the visit far more useful: a rough guest count, whether you want the AC banquet hall, the open lawn or both, and the kind of food you have in mind. In-house catering. Outside caterers are allowed with prior approval. Read about catering and decor planning before you come.
